Our lives are busy.
We may not even recognize how far we have climbed up the stress mountain.
We run around in our jobs and home life, chasing after kids or deadlines, driving in heaving traffic to and from work, and making sure our bills are paid on time.
We try to squeeze everything into one day because if we don't, we become more behind.
This lifestyle is just the new normal.
So, we accept this as "It's ok, I'm just this stressed out all the time."

We may do all the healthy things.
We may meditate, work out, do yoga, hike, eat organic food... but we still have a massive amount of stress.
Our jobs, our boss, co-workers, our phones pinging constantly with notifications, our bank account balances, our kids screaming, our partner not meeting our needs, family, friends, strangers, or even seeing something on the news/social media may cause us to become stressed.
We might not be able to sleep, or other people in our lives may effect our thoughts and emotions.
So, we tell ourselves "I can't deal with this right now" or "I'm depressed".

Hi, I'm Breanne!
I'm a Brain-Body Medicine Practitioner.
For my entire life I dealt with stress from frightening chest pains to alienating myself thinking the stress would just "go away".
Life hasn't always been easy. I grew up in a home that put a lot of stress on my young self. Thus, creating my young self to grow up way faster than she ever wanted to. I worked in the corporate world in the environmental field for decades, realizing that the job, the boss, the commute, and the co-workers inside that career was creating the majority of my adulthood stress. Then, we had our son. Which, brought stress on a whole new level.
My life was filled with stress, and I needed a change. Or, I was on the verge of developing diseases I wasn't prepared for.
I found my definition of Success in this world through discovering how I can live in resilience without that stress.
I now partner with clients to discover their own definition of Success in their own lives by focusing on Enviro-Therapy, Stress Release, Somatic Work, Herbal Remedies, and Trauma Release Practices to create that vision of Success that has been buried under the sheer weight of their stress.
So, What IS Stress?

Stress is "the biological response when an individual perceives threat to its homeostasis".
Stress manifests itself uniquely in each person through each unique experience of a Stressor. Stress can embody many factors such as: our thoughts, emotions, nutrition, relationships, spirituality, the environment(s) we live in, and our body structure and biology.
These factors can create devastating chronic diseases that could affect our lives and well-being.
Stress can be expressed in a variety of ways, some include: anger outbursts, high blood pressure, muscle tension, chest and abdomen pain, neuroticism, depression, headaches, fatigue, nausea, sleep disorders, alienation, etc.
The responses and tolerance of stressors are subject to a variety of factors that are also unique to the individual experiencing that particular stressor.
